 Vicki Myhren Gallery is happy to present the Fountain of Eudemonia, a solo exhibition of new work by Jing Qin created during her tenure as the 2021-2022 Phipps Teaching Artist in Residence at the School of Art and Art History. Join us for the opening reception April 14, 2022, at 5 – 8 PM. Exquisite Corpse Collage Workshop

Join VMG for a collaborative art making experience on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 4:30 -5:30 PM. Based on the surealist of the exquisite corpse, or sometimes an exquisite cadeavor, this workshop will see participants create fantastical figures from recycled magazine and paper cut outs. We’ll be putting our own spin on the early 20th tradition, but check out some original exquisite corpses by famed artists like André Breton, Yves Tanguy, and Joan Miró on the Museum of Modern Art’s webpage on the subject.   Join us for an art workshop in the gallery! On Thursday November 11, 2021 we’ll be making exquisite corpse collages. Based on the surrealist tradition, this gamified form of art-making sees participants create a collective work of art, without viewing what those before them have created.
