Le Journale de la Photographie just posted a fantastic spread on Denver’s Month of Photography that includes a dedicated feature on Joel Dallenbach: Sidewalk Stories. There are a little less than two weeks left to catch Dallenbach’s show here at the Gallery – the exhibition closes March 31.
Elaine Calzolari’s (1950-2009) multi-part granite sculpture installation “Astolat” was formally dedicated to the University of Denver on June 22, 2012. The dedication was performed by Calzolari’s daughter Miranda Paley and Chancellor Robert D. Coombe. Chen Wenling’s Happy Life has been a fixture in the School of Art and Art History for the last several years. On loan from the Made in China Gallery LLC, Happy Life will be spotlighted inside the Gallery as a feature of the 4×4: Collector Series exhibition. 4×4 runs from April 5 – May 6.
