Preparations for the 2013 Juried Alumni exhibition continue! Here at the gallery, we’re continuing to receive artwork. Participating alums are stopping by with their pieces, and each day mysterious packages arrive in the mail. The walls are in place (mostly), and the gallery is transformed once again. Soon the wall vinyl will go up, paintings will be hung, and sculptures carefully positioned on pedestals. After lighting, some touch-up work and cleanup, we’ll be ready to go.
The opening reception is October 3rd from 5-7 at the Myhren Gallery. There will be beverages and light hors d’oeuvres, and the event is free of charge. It’s sure to be a fun time – we’re looking forward to seeing you here!
