UPDATE: Margery Reed Hall had its grand opening celebration today, April 8th, 85 years after its  first inauguration. The opening remarks and ribbon cutting were followed by an open house. The beautifully restored mural was met with much admiration! Many saw it in its full splendor for the first time today. The renovated classrooms, meeting rooms, and administrative spaces of the Daniels School of  Business at Margery Reed Hall provide a great home for the newly-dedicated Reiman Theatre. The Female Gaze: The Linda Lee Alter Collection of Art by Women organized by The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts opens next Thursday, March 27 with an opening reception from 5 to 7 PM. We hope to see you there! The gallery also has undergone an update, so if you walk by during the next week, you will be able to preview the exhibition through our new window!  

As many of you know, the Guerrilla Girls gave a performance at the University of Denver on Monday night. It was an indisputable success; the Cable Center auditorium was filled to capacity, and there was an overflow viewing area set up in front of a large screen in the lobby. The final head count was around 350 people, with many familiar faces of faculty, staff, students and DU Art! members visible among the crowd.
