Please join us for an opening reception celebrating Annabeth Rosen: the whole is equal…, an exhibition of pieces from an ongoing series of collected and bundled handmade ceramic “found” objects. Also included in the show are large-scale drawings relating to the ceramic artwork. Rosen, who is the Robert Arneson Endowed Chair in ceramic sculpture at UC Davis, is a widely exhibited artist with works in many major art museums. Voted the most popular Andy Warhol print by the DU – Vicki Myhren Gallery community, Queen Elizabeth II also celebrates being named the longest reigning monarch in Britain today (#longestreign).  If you missed the print in our exhibition Warhol at DU: Recent Gifts from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, it has been brought back by popular demand and is now on display in our Recent Gifts exhibition.  You better hurry though, as unlike the Queen’s reign, this exhibition will not last quite as long and is only up through September 27. https://instagram.com/p/7bGQlEQkMj/?taken-by=myhrengallery
