A System in Place brings together artists whose work employs instructions, rules, scores, algorithms, and other generative systems as creative frameworks. Presented alongside two wall drawings by Sol LeWitt, the exhibition considers the enduring influence of conceptual practices that separate conception from execution, embrace collaboration, and invite variation within predetermined structures. Rather than tracing a direct lineage, the exhibition highlights the diverse ways contemporary artists continue to adapt, challenge, and expand the possibilities of instruction-based art.
