
Lauren Anuszewski serves as a Gallery Assistant at the Vicki Myhren Gallery. Born and raised in Colorado, Lauren’s research focuses on the arts of the American West with an emphasis on the intersections of art and settler colonialism. Her Master’s Research Paper examined how artist Frank Mechau’s use of East Asian artistic influences to represent local Colorado landmarks bridges the local and global and further reflects a modern globalized sense of place. Lauren holds an M.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Denver and a B.A. in Art History from Barnard College, Columbia University.
