2008 BFA Exhibition/MFA Exhibitions
May 15–June 7, 2008

This annual presentation of works by students graduating from the DU School of Art and Art history is organized by Dan Jacobs, director of the Victoria H. Myhren Gallery at the University of Denver. The “BFA/MFA Exhibition” will comprise works from 17 students in the Bachelors of Fine Arts program and the Masters of Fine Arts program in studio arts, pre-conservation, and electronic media arts and design (eMAD).

This 2008 show is the first to present works from both BFA and MFA students. Participating undergraduate (BFA) students are Laura Borneman, Bailey Ferguson, Mallory Freed, Britt Hoyl, Annie Kier, Justin Lascelle, Jesse Lindenberg, Christian Madsen, Shauna Medeiros, Nicole Saint, Stefani Schulte, Jennifer Segel, David Sprankle, and Matthew Welton. The three graduate (MFA)students are Phillip Faulkner, Devin Monnens, and Stacey Sotosky.

For this year’s exciting show, MFA student Phillip Faulkner will create a large-scale projection on the exterior of the building, a first for an exhibition in the School of Art and Art History. Among other projects, pre-conservation students Nicole Saint and Stefani Schulte will include pieces showcasing the restoration of a 1930s Edward Thompson mural in DU’s Margery Reed Building auditorium.
