For those of you who don’t already know, Dan Jacobs has been working to save the Shakespeare mural, painted by John Edward Thompson, for about seven years. It is located in the Margery Reed building on the DU campus but was forgotten for years under a layer of black paint. In what has been a true team effort, the mural was uncovered and restored, and it will finally be unveiled to the public on April 8 for the first time since it was rediscovered. Located in the Reiman Theater, the mural surrounds the stage at the front of the space.
