Have you ever wondered how large piece of artwork arrive at a gallery? Sometimes professional art shippers are used to transport the pieces, but many institutions prefer to use their own resources and employees to move art from their storage site to the exhibition space when possible. Yesterday, passersby near the Myhren Gallery could see Director, Dan Jacobs, and several members of the gallery staff working together to unload the final pieces for the upcoming A Decade of Gifts and Discoveries exhibition. If you missed out on the excitement, you may be interested in these photos. Now that all art is at the Myhren Gallery, the staff will be working hard to finish the installation and perfect the presentation for the opening receptionon Thursday, January 9 from 5-7 PM. We hope to see you there!
