SUMMARY:"A System In Place": Lecture and Performance
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Vicki Myhren Gallery for an evening of conversation and music to accompany the exhibition A System In Place: In Dialogue with Sol LeWitt.  \n\n\n\nThe program will feature a performance of composer Alvin Lucier’s Panorama by two musicians from DU’s Lamont School of Music. LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #730––which is on view at the Vicki Myhren Gallery––was a response to this composition by Lucier\, both of which were inspired by the Zug mountain range.  \n\n\n\nThe performance will be followed by a lecture from Dean Sobel\, Professor of the Practice of Art History & Museum Studies and founding director of the Clyfford Still Museum.  \n\n\n\nThis event is free and open to the public.
