In conjunction with Vicki Myhren Gallery’s Learning to See Color exhibition, a symposium at DU, co-sponsored by the Clyfford Still Museum, will feature distinguished guest speakers to explore the fascinating problems and challenges of the language of color. Moderated by Dean Sobel, director of the Clyfford Still Museum, the panelists will address inquiries concerning color – one of the most fundamental topics in the arts – and a primary interest to Clyfford Still himself.

The panelists include – Christie Del Ciotto, ASID and Marketing Manager at Sherwin-Williams; Andres Lopera, Assistant Conductor, Colorado Symphony Orchestra; Devorah Sperber, Artist featured in the exhibit; and Jeffrey Keith, Artist, Color Expert, and Co-Curator of the exhibit. Each panelist will address the questions we have posed in the exhibit as well as how color influences their own work.
